Nationwide Ban on Texting While Driving. Don't worry. It's not about the money.

Where do Law-makers (Politicians) Draw the Line?

This comes as a Surprise: The Nationwide Ban on Texting is upon us. Right now it's mostly for Bus and Truck Drivers which is good and I understand the safety. A $2,750 fine is what we're talking about. Gee, sounds like it's more about money to me. I've never known politicians to make laws to make money *sarcasm*. I thought it was only for our safety. Voice your opinions.

Consider this: Smarter people that see the wrong in this may bring up a question such as "What is considered as texting" It's one of those Their word VS yours when you get pulled over. Think about it: Pretend that you look down to find, say, your asthma inhaler in your car.. Nope.. you were texting. That'll be 3-grand. Where does it stop?

This became news to me through Berry Review.
